Call for Advisory Board applicants:

To augment our capacity for supporting teachers and students, the Mat-Su Schools Foundation is creating and seeking membership in an Advisory Board. This group will assist the Board of Directors by lending expertise in various areas including education, community outreach, fund raising, legal advise, and finance.

Members of the Advisory Board will meet at least once a year with the Board of Directors and will receive regular updates on MSSF initiatives and processes. Advisory Board members will be invited to attend monthly Board of Director meetings and will be encouraged to participate in ongoing electronic discussions. In some cases, members of the Board of Directors may call on specific Advisory Board members for advise or suggestions. Advisory Board members will not vote on action items, but their input will be actively sought and taken seriously in decision making and planning.
